Embed your Threads posts directly on your Framer site. Social Hampster is one of the only Framer plugins that supports Threads, making it a strong choice for creators and brands who are active on the platform.

Unique to Social Hampster: Threads support is rare among Framer plugins. Most competing tools do not offer Threads integration at all. If you post on Threads, this gives you a real advantage on your website.

How to connect Threads

From the plugin (inside Framer)

  1. Open the Social Hampster plugin in Framer by pressing Cmd+/ (Mac) or Ctrl+/ (Windows) and searching "Social Hampster"

  2. Find Threads in the platforms list and click Connect

  3. A popup opens - log in with your Threads account and approve the connection

  4. Close the popup

  5. Click the Refresh button at the top of the plugin panel

  6. Threads appears as a connected platform

From the dashboard

  1. Go to app.socialhampster.com and click + Create New Feed

  2. Select Threads

  3. Log in with your Threads account and approve the connection

  4. You will return to the dashboard and your Threads feed will appear in the Your Feeds list

Note: Threads uses Meta's API for authorization. You will log in with your Instagram credentials since Threads accounts are linked to Instagram accounts.

About Threads content

Threads posts are primarily text-based, with optional images or videos. Social Hampster supports:

  • Text posts - the post text is shown as the card content

  • Image posts - posts with attached images show the image as the card thumbnail

  • Video posts - video posts show a thumbnail image on the card

Text-only posts will not have an image thumbnail. Enable the Show Text prop so those cards still display your post content.

Common issues

Threads account not connecting

Make sure you are logged in to the correct Threads account when the OAuth popup opens. If you have multiple accounts, the popup may default to the wrong one. Sign out first and then authorize with the right account.

Posts not appearing after connecting

Click the Sync button on the feed card in the dashboard to trigger a fresh fetch of your latest posts.

The feed shows in the editor but not on my published site

Your domain is not whitelisted. Go to app.socialhampster.com/settings or use the Whitelist Domain button inside the plugin, and add your published domain (no https://, no trailing slash).
